It all started with my youngest son—yep, I have three boys and one girl—when our naturopath discovered abnormally high levels of aluminum and plastics in his system. I was shocked. I was breastfeeding, so how could this happen?
Turns out my everyday deodorant and lotions were the culprits, loaded with chemicals that were sneaking into my breast milk. That’s when I realized what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body.
Determined to make a change, I dove into researching natural deodorant recipes and spent months tweaking and refining. When I finally nailed a formula that worked (and smelled good!), I shared it with friends and clients—did I mention I was a Personal Trainer and Bootcamp Instructor? In no time, I couldn’t make it fast enough! That simple recipe became the first k’pure Naturals product, and before I knew it, a small side project had turned into a thriving business.
What started out as a personal quest to keep my family safe from hidden chemicals quickly turned into a collection of cruelty-free, hand-made products that now includes everything from deodorant to hand sanitizer (who knew that would be such a hit?). Through bootcamp sessions, marathon training, and everyday life, k’pure Naturals products have been tested, loved, and trusted by families across North America.
Nine years later, we still make each product by hand with strict attention to quality control, ensuring every jar, tube, and bottle meets the same high standards I originally created for my own family. Our lineup continues to grow, but our heart remains the same: giving you simple, effective skincare that you can feel great about—no ifs, ands, or harmful chemicals.
As a busy mom of four, I know the juggle is real. Feeling confident about what goes on and into our bodies helps me sleep at night, and I hope k’pure can do the same for you. We’re all about transparency, simplicity, and a little cheekiness—because self-care should be fun, right?
Today, our small dream has grown into a company whose products can be found in retailers across North America. But don’t worry, I’m still that girl who started selling natural deodorant on the internet, excited to see what happens if I just Keep Going.
